Here we will tell the story of the beginnings of our ministry and how we became what we are today.

The first born chapter of HTR.

In 2003, God gave a vision to two men of a motorcycle ministry out of Abundant Harvest Fellowship Church in Athens, TX. These men were the pastor Marc Jones and Danny Gravitt. The problem was they didn't have any experience in this type of ministry, but beleiving in the vision they had they set out to become part of the motorcycle culture in east Texas. At a rally in Longview, they met a group of men from Circuit Riders MM. The then TX State President of Circuit Riders, Mac "Bulldog" McBride was among the men they met and right away Danny and Mac hit it off. Pastor Marc and Danny decided the best way to learn the ministry was to become a chapter of Circuit Riders and learn it from men such as Mac and Brother Doc Louviere, founder of Circuit Riders MM. In Oct 2003 Harvest Time Riders was born as the Athens TX chapter of Circuit Riders MM. The chapter was blessed and began growing rapidly with members from the Church in Athens, Union Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro and an Assembly of God in Tyler.

The chapter was very active and Danny and Mac developed a close bond between each other that allowed Danny to see the inner workings of the ministry. By January 2005 HTR was the largest TX chapter of Circuit Riders and Brother Doc and Mac decided it might be time to birth a new chapter out of it, so in February 2005 Wheels of Mercy, the Brownsboro chapter of CRMM was born. All of the charter members of WOM were members of HTR, and Union Hill Baptist Church. Both chapters continued to prosper and pursue the vision God had given them for their ministry. This was the first chapter born of Harvest Time Riders and put them a step closer to the vision that Danny and Pastor Marc had been given in the beginning.

In June of 2006 They bacame another step closer to their vision when they decided to step out of CRMM and stand on their own as Harvest Time Riders MM. Even though, they are no longer part of CRMM they will always be part of it through those charter WOM members that continue to impact that ministry. Brother Bill Hamilton, one of those members, is the Texas State Spitual Covering for CRMM and now serves on the Circuit Riders Christian Fellowship Ministries board of directors and the CRMM Drifter evangelistic team, Steve Goodrich another of the members serves as CRMM' s TX State Treasurer and sits as the treasurer on the board of directors and Ray "RedBeard" Moore has served as CRMM's TX State Coordinator and International Coordinator and is currently the Texas State VP.
